LAMJUNG: Bagmati Football Club and RODS advanced to the final of the 30th Triveni Cup Football Tournament here on Monday.

Bagmati defeated Samana Football Club 2-0 in the first semi-final match. Sanam Dhimal put Bagmati ahead in the 21st minute and Dev Gurung doubled the tally in the 60th minute for the Sarlahi-based club.

Suraj Shrestha of Bagmati was adjudged the player of the match.

In another semi-final match, Fode Fofana scored the solitary goal of the match as Rampur-based RODS beat SWSCC 1-0. Tezendra Chaudhary of RODS was named the player of the match.
