Nepal records four COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 10

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 25, on Tuesday as four persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,001,031 while the death toll remains at 12,020 as no fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 988,983 with three discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,092 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 416 were PCR tests while 676 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 5,994,517, PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
