Nepal records three COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 25
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 14, on Wednesday as three persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,001,081 while the death toll remains at 12,020 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 989,047 with seven discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 437 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 429 were PCR tests while eight were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,001,716 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
