Nepal records 17 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 30, on Thursday as 17 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,001,202 while the death toll remains at 12,020 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 989,152 with one discharge logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,454 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 505 were PCR tests while 949 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,017,585 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
