Nepal records 106 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

KATHMANDU, APRIL 13

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 435, on Thursday as 106 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,073 while the death toll remains at 12,022 as one fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 989,616 with 74 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,488 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 541 were PCR tests while 947 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 6,025,888 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed five positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
