Nepal records 113 COVID-19 cases on Monday

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 362, on Monday as 113 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,662 while the death toll remains at 12,027 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 990,273 with 72 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,810 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 766 were PCR tests while 1,044 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,031,326 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 49 positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
