Nepal records 82 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 361, on Wednesday as 82 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,791 while the death toll remains at 12,028 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 990,402 with 65 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,634 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 494 were PCR tests while 1,140 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,032,839 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 45 positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
