Nepal records 19 COVID-19 cases on Monday

KATHMANDU, MAY 1

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 283, on Monday as 19 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,982 while the death toll remains at 12,030 as one fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 990,669 with 64 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 375 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 375 were PCR tests while zero antigen tests.

With this, a total of 6,035,358 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed zero positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
