Nepal records 32 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

KATHMANDU, MAY 07

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 133, on Sunday as 32 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,003,090 while the death toll remains at 12,031 as no fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 990,926 with 12 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,964 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 304 were PCR tests while 1,660 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 6,037,231 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 24 positive case in the past 48 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
