KATHMANDU, JULY 05

The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting, initially adjourned for half an hour due to disruption caused by CPN-UML, has now been further adjourned until 3 pm on Friday.

The CPN-UML party blocked the Parliament session in response to a statement made by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', claiming that Indian citizen Pritam Singh had visited Delhi multiple times with the intention of becoming the Prime Minister.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire initially adjourned the meeting for half an hour to address the disruption caused by the UML. However, since the parties were unable to come to an agreement regarding the continuation of the meeting, it was postponed until Friday. An official from the Parliament Secretariat has confirmed that preparations are underway to issue a notice formally announcing the adjournment of the meeting.
