KATHMANDU: NRS Sports Foundation and inDrive announced a new initiative aimed at developing running culture in Nepal.

The Foundation will provide training opportunities to aspiring athletes from the age of 12 years in 10 districts in the first phase of the campaign. 'We are excited to launch this initiative and promote running culture in Nepal,' said NRS Foundation Chairman Nilendra Raj Shrestha, who is also the General Secretary of Nepal Olympic Committee.

'Through dedicated training and support, we aim to unlock the potential of Nepali runners and empower them to represent nation on the international stage.' To promote young and underprivileged runners, inDrive will support 300 athletes in Kathmandu Marathon slated for October 14.

The initiation is part of inDrive's community empowerment efforts to challenge injustice globally.
