British Council Nepal has launched a new service, 'IELTS Ready: Premium' in a bid to provide innovative support to those individuals preparing for IELTS test with the British Council from today onwards.

Issuing a press release today, the British Council said the new platform would provide personalised IELTS resources to the test-takers in accordance with their progress, including 40 IELTS mock tests and recorded classes, and would be fully supported by native English speaking IELTS experts.

Test-takers can also boost their IELTS preparation with practice tests in both timed and untimed formats, thereby enabling them to practice the most useful exercises for the tests through the analysis of all answers.

The 'IELTS Ready: Premium' platform is powered by Guided e-Learning, a leading provider of digital learning in English Language Teaching based in London.

The British Council said the test-takers would also be able to access writing practice with model answers to know what examiners are looking for in order to achieve required scores and get feedback from IELTS experts on every reading and listening question.

Similarly, IELTS test-takers from the British Council will be provided with tailored support to the target areas where there is the room for improvement.

Test-takers can also receive unlimited free access to 'IELTS Ready: Premium' from the time they register for IELTS with the British Council up to their test.

During a successful pilot period, the platform achieved high levels of user satisfaction and engagement among the test-takers. The British Council said 97 per cent of users said it had helped them achieve their desired score and 98 per cent said they would recommend the service to others.

General Manager at the British Council Nepal, Maxim Raimann said: 'We want to give our IELTS test-takers every tool we can to achieve their ambitions of living, working or studying overseas,' adding, 'We are therefore excited to launch 'IELTS Ready: Premium' to help them feel fully prepared and have the best chance to fulfil their dreams.'

IELTS is the world's most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration.
