Janamat Party Chairperson Dr CK Raut has said a political conspiracy is being hatched against his party.

Speaking at a party programme in Rajbiraj today, Raut said, 'We are the eighth largest party in the Parliament. Just as Lord Krishna, the eighth child of Basudev, faced betrayal from his villainous uncle Kansh, we are also witnessing con-spiracies against us.'

'The budget for this fiscal wasn't people-friendly. That's why, we had staged protest despite being in the government. Sadly, as other parties came around to support it despite protesting it earlier, the budget was passed through vote finally,' he clarified. He blamed corruption and 'syndicate' for lack of establishment of large industries and increasing rate of unemployment in the country.

On a different note, Raut who was elected MP from Saptari Constituency-2, said the agriculture minister from his party at the government in Province 2 was made a portfolio-less minister because he introduced programmes in favour of farmers.

'Though we received less seats than the large parties, we have been working by prioritising the people's agenda,' he said.

Hundreds of people joined Janamat Party on the occasion today.
