KATHMANDU, AUGUST 17

The Meteorological Forecast Division has predicted heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning and thunder in one or two places of the Bagmati and Koshi provinces today.

Meanwhile, a few locations in the hilly regions of the country as well as scattered areas in other parts are expected to witness light to moderate rainfall along with lightning and thunder.

Throughout the day and night, the nation will experience a partly to mostly cloudy weather condition.

As the day transitions into the night, we can anticipate light to moderate rainfall with lightning and thunder in a few spots within the Koshi, Madhes, and Gandaki provinces, along with a few other areas across the country. Likewise, tonight, one or two places within the Koshi and Gandaki provinces are likely to encounter heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder.
