KATHMANDU: Reliance College won the first BST Cup Inter-college Boys Basketball Tournament on Tuesday. Reliance laboured to a 63-62 win over Lincoln in final. The match was extended to extra time after the 52-52 deadlock in the normal time. Reliance scored 11 and conceded 10 points to Lincoln to win the championship by one point. Niraj Pariyar netted 23 for Reliance while Elin KC top scored for Lincoln with 27 points. Hosts BST College beat St Lawrence to win the third-place playoff. Rohit Karki of Reliance was declared the most valuable player of the tournament.
