KATHMANDU: Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation President Rajesh Babu Shrestha was elected as the executive vice-president of the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation here on Saturday.

Shrestha was vice-president in the previous executive committee of the ABBF. The electoral congress held on the sidelines of the 55th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship also elected NBFF vice-presidents Bijay Lal Kayastha and Rajesh Upadhyay as the ABBF vice-president and member respectively, while general secretary Dinesh Rajbhandari was nominated as the president of Technical Committee.

The championship is scheduled to begin on Monday.
