Prohibitory order imposed in Nepalgunj

NEPALGUNJ, OCTOBER 3
The District Administration Office, Banke, has imposed an indefinite prohibitory order at Nepalgunj sub-metropolis area. The curfew became effective from 1:00 pm this afternoon.
Chief District Officer Bipin Acharya said prohibitory order was issued in view of the situation of possible risk to safety of the general people and of disturbance of peace following the occurrence of vandalism of public property and stone pelting.
The prohibitory order was issued to be effective within areas from Rapti River Bridge in the east, the road leading to Indrapur of Khajura in the west, Ranjha chowk in the north and Jamunaha check point in the South of Banke district.
No one is allowed to organise any gatherings, rally and restrict in people's movement in these areas, added Acharya.
The local administration informed that action would be taken as per the law if such order was violated. Issuing a notice on Monday, the District Administration Office, Banke, had urged not to conduct any activities hurting the religious sentiments, and blaming each other in social sites.
Different organisations including the Omkar Family and Hindu Society had taken out goodwill rally in Nepalgunj this morning.
