KATHMANDU: Senior chartered accountant Suresh Devkota has been appointed as the chief executive officer of Nabil Securities Ltd, a subsidiary of Nabil Bank Ltd.

The board of directors of Nabil Securities has appointed Devkota as the chief executive officer for four years with effect from October 8, as per a press release.

Devkota, who has two decades of experience in the banking sector, was previously working as the chief investment officer of Nabil Bank Ltd.

He started his banking career in the year 2006 with Nepal Bank Ltd and served in Nepal Bangladesh Bank for 15 years.

After the acquisition of Nepal Bangladesh Bank by Nabil Bank, he was given the responsibility of the chief investment officer.
