KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 14

Senior captain was injured when a Manang Air chopper crashed while landing at Lobuche in the Everest region this morning.

According to Mukti Pandey, Director at Manang Air, a chopper with a call sign 9N-ANJ crashed while it flew from Lukla to rescue foreign trekkers at Lobuche this morning.

'Senior captain PK Sedhain was injured in the accident and he is evacuated to HAMS hospital in Kathmandu for treatment,' he said.
