KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 15

The Nepalis have celebrated Bhai Tika today, marking the last day of the five-day Tihar festival.

Sisters have offered colorful tika to their brothers, wishing them a long life, good health, and prosperity. They also provided delicious food to their brothers. Similarly, brothers have also offered colorful tika to their sisters and provided gifts.

Although the auspicious hour for applying tika was 10:51 am today, people were seen heading towards their destinations throughout the day to offer tika.

Likewise, the Balgopal Temple located in Ranipokhari opened its doors today for those who have no sisters and brothers of their own. People thronged to the temple to receive tika.

The temple opens every year on Bhai Tika.
