Over 1.5 million benefitted from Makesworth Foundation

The philanthropist organisation also provides scholarship to deserving ACCA student every year in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 22

London based Makesworth Foundation that works primarily to support elivate poverty by helping orphaned children and elderly in Nepal and Ukraine in the latest impact released recently showed that it supported 75 projects with impacts to over 1,506,827 beneficaries.

Sanjay Sah, Managing Director of Makesworth Accountants and founder of the Makesworth Foundation, unveling the impact report thanked everyone who made their effort effective. 'We would like to share our clients and supporters with a Christmas update and were astonished at just how much had been achieved,' Sah said.

The impact the Makesworth Foundation has grown significantly across the world as it has intensified working to save earth collaborating with an organisation called 'ecologize'. The Makesworth Foundaition claimed that it planted over 16,241 trees in different countries in Asia and Africa resulting in 137.95 tonnes of carbon reduction. The organisation has expressed confident that the plantation will be more intensive as they plan to plant thousands more trees.

Sah, also recently returned from Chernivtsi, a war-torn a western province of Ukraine, that has been under Russian encroachment. Sah had gone there with relief package to support elderly and children with the help of local volunteers. 'Humanity knows no bounds. We plan to regularly provide assistance to the conflict-affected communities in war-torn Ukraine,' he said.

The organisation said that thousands of people worldwide have benefited from the assistance they provide in collaboration with the international charity like B1G1. Every year, The provide scholarship to a meritorious male or female student from Nepal to study ACCA. Similarly, we have been helping UK-based organization Nepal Run,' said Sah.

The organisations held atleast two charitable events both in Ukraine and Nepal once a month.

Mexworth Foundation also distributed wheelchairs through the Center for Disability Concerns in Nepal. It also supported Manav Sewa Ashram by with foods for the elderly people taking shelter at Manav Seva Ashram and Padam Bhuvaneshwari Model Old Age Sevashram. Similarly, the organisation also supported children in special schools and rehabilitation centers this year.

'In 2024 we plan to hold a charity ball event in London with around 300 attendees. All funds raised from the event will be donated to the Mexworth Foundation. Similarly, there is a plan to register the Mexworth Foundation with the UK's Charity Commission next year. Also, we have a plan to conduct a welfare program in one of the African countries,' said Sah.

Mexworth Accountants has also announced that it will donate 3 percent of its annual income to the Mexworth Foundation.

Makesworth Foundation also calimed to have became a permanent sponsor of Nepal Ru, an organisation that manages running events to promote health and well-being among Nepalese communities in the UK.

The philanthropist organisation also provides scholarship to deserving ACCA student every year in Nepal. It plans to support one extra student for a year 2024.

Makesworth Foundation in 2024 plans to inugurate Makesworth Foundation Charity Ball which will see 300 attendees gather together in London. All funds raised shall go to support the vital work the Foundation undertakes. The non-profit organisations also plans coordination with the UK's Charity Commission next year. This big step will see the Makesworth Foundation continue to provide funds to support a wide range of vital charitable projects.

'We will be launching the Makesworth Foundation in Africa. We've decided to increase our reach by supporting a country in Africa. We are very keen to support those in most need via a range of charitable projects, extending our reach even further,' Sah said.

'Whilst a lot has been achieved there remains a lot to continue to do and I hope that our clients, colleagues, suppliers and community continue to support this vital work.' Sah added.
