KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 6

Hindu devotees visit the Salinadi River in Sankhu, on the outskirts of Kathmandu, on Monday as part of the month-long Swasthani Bratakatha festival.

During this sacred event, devotees take a holy dip in the river and recite scriptures dedicated to Hindu goddess Swasthani and Lord Shiva.
