Nepal's Weather: Light rain, snow, clouds, and western winds

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 14

Light rain is expected in scattered areas across the country, spanning from Koshi and Madhesh to Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, with the exception of Sudurpaschim province on Wednesday.

The Meteorological Forecast Division (MFD) also anticipates light snowfall in select areas of the high hilly and mountainous regions.

The weather forecast suggests a partly to generally cloudy pattern for most of the country, while Sudurpaschim province will likely experience partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions.

As evening falls, Koshi and Madhesh provinces may see partly to generally cloudy skies, whereas the remaining provinces should expect partly cloudy to mainly fair weather.

Similarly, there's a possibility of light snowfall tonight in some parts of the high hilly and mountainous regions within Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Currently, the country is under the influence of western winds.
