KATHMANDU: Resource Centre for Primary Health Care (RECPHEC) today called for public private partnership to ensure basic free health services in the country. Shanta Lal Mulmi, director, RECPHEC, said that they were exploring contributions of non-state actors while drafting Nepal health sector programme. Jeevan Lohani, team leader of the study on 'Free Health Services in Nepal' said that there was a gap in between the implementation and management of health personnel and health organisations. He further added that monitoring of the higher-level bodies was also not effective.
