Gold surges to new heights on Monday, gains Rs 1,600 per tola

KATHAMNDU, APRIL 1

The gold price soared to new heights on Monday, as the price surged by Rs 1,600 per tola in the domestic market.

This surge follows a trend of rapid escalation, with gold reaching a record high of Rs 130,000 per tola on Friday.

Maintaining its momentum, the price held steady throughout Sunday, only to ascend further today, setting a fresh record at Rs 131,600 per tola.

Similarly, tejabi gold is experiencing an upward trajectory, now trading at Rs 130,950 per tola compared to Rs 129,400 per tola on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the silver market, which had remained stable at Rs 1,525 per tola since Friday, witnessed a modest increase of Rs 10 per tola today, reaching Rs 1,535 per tola.
