KATHMANDU, APRIL 7

Thanks to timely printing and a smooth supply system in place, textbooks arrived before the beginning of the new academic year in Sankhuwasabha district this time.

Unlike in the past, when school children and teachers had to wait desperately for months even after the start of the new academic year, the arrival of books is sure to elate both students and parents.

Stationers have been supplying books to schools located in remote areas. They have informed that rural schools have already received the books. Stationers in Khandbari have started selling books to community schools by establishing sales centers.

Krishna Bhandari, a stationery owner and entrepreneur, mentioned that more than 60 percent of textbooks have been sold so far.

The sales stalls were set up with collective investment. Remaining schools are also receiving consignments. It is believed that every student will receive new books before the New Year in the district this time.
