The domestic gold market soared to new heights on Tuesday, marking another milestone with a substantial surge of Rs 1,700 per tola. This propelled the price of gold to an unprecedented peak of Rs 139,200 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

The Nepali market in recent days has been on a relentless upward trajectory in gold price, punctuated by occasional fluctuations but marked by repeated rebounds and the setting of new records.

In sync with this trend, tejabi gold is currently being traded at Rs 138,550 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also seen an upward movement, rising by Rs 35 per tola to reach Rs 1,750 per tola from Monday's rate of Rs 1,715 per tola.
