One-way traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway

MUGLIN, JULY 11

One-way traffic has resumed on the Prithvi Highway.

The debris was removed from the road to allow vehicular movement. The landslip occurred at Mauwakhola of Ichhchhakamana-3 of Chitwan had obstructed the traffic since this morning.

Police inspector at the Area Police Office, Muglin, Nirala Bhandari, informed that it would however take time to ensure two-way traffic. The landslip is continuous, while the works for clearance of debris is worsened by the rainfall, she added.

Although thousands of vehicles ply on this busy highway, the Traffic Police Office, Chitwan failed to record the estimated number.
