KATHMANDU, AUGUST 14

On Wednesday, locals from Maikot were seen crossing the Sang River, which lies on the Sahid Marg in Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-6, Rukum East.

Similarly, locals were also seen crossing the Ghatte Khola along the Sahid Marg in Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-13, Rukum East in a risky manner.

Due to the absence of bridges over these rivers, residents of the district are compelled to cross them at great risk, particularly during the rainy season.
