Former DIG Joshi arrested, transferred to Pokhara

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 22
The police have arrested former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police, Chabi Lal Joshi.
According to Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki, Joshi was apprehended in Kathmandu on Sunday.
His arrest is part of an inquiry into matters related to the Suryadarshan Cooperatives and other associated issues.
Meanwhile, Joshi is being transported to Pokhara, where he will be presented before the court on Monday, police said.
