KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 27
Action will be taken against individuals involved in flying kites, drones, and balloons in and around Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
Airport Chief and General Manager Jagannath Niraula stated that flying drones, balloons, and using laser lights in the vicinity of the airport is strictly prohibited due to the serious threat they pose to flight safety.
'We urge the public to refrain from such activities as they could severely impact the safety of aircraft,' he emphasized.
Strict legal action will be enforced for any violations. With Dashain approaching, kite and balloon flying activities have increased in the areas surrounding the airport.
