KATHMANDU: The locales of Mulpani VDC formed a 11-member consumers committee to make a well facilitated football ground at Manohara. The locales initiated to make a ground at the derelict Manohara ground by collecting funds and organising cultural programmes. The consumers committee headed by Chiranjivi Khanal includes vice-presidents Ajaya Phuyal and Narayan Phuyal, Secretary Sushil Prasad Phuyal and treasurer Bimal Khanal. Dinesh Phuyal, Navaraj Khanal, Sudhir Dhungel, Prabhakar Bhujel, Narendra Khanal and Raj Kumar KC are the members in the committee. More than one million rupees have already been raised for the ground while the construction work will start after the completion of the 11th South Asian Games.
