4.7 ML earthquake jolts Manang

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 19

A 4.7 magnitude earthquake shook Manang district on Thursday morning.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur, Kathmandu, the tremor occurred at 7:37 AM with its epicenter in Neshyang, Manang.

Details of any damage or casualties resulting from the earthquake have not yet been ascertained.

The last recorded earthquake was of magnitude 3.9 near Rayal, Bajhang, on December 11.
