The government has appointed Amrit Bahadur Rai as the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

In a statement released today, MoFA announced that the career diplomat has officially assumed the role of Foreign Secretary.

Rai, who joined the civil service in 1996, has served the nation in various capacities within the fields of diplomacy and public service, MoFA shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
