KATHMANDU, JANUARY 15

Nepal's professional golfer Sachin Bhattarai has been recognized among the Top 50 Teachers for 2024-25 by the World Golf Teachers Federation (WGTF). Bhattarai, who has been coaching at The Royal Nepal Golf Club since 2004, previously featured in the WGTF Top 100 Teachers in 2020 and the Top 50 list in 2022.

Bhattarai is Nepal's only United States Golf Teaching Federation (US-GTF) certified golfer, earning his US-GTF Master certificate in 2013. The WGTF, which announces its prestigious list every two years, ranks golf teaching professionals worldwide based on teaching expertise, achievements, and nominations from their respective federations.

Bhattarai has also been instrumental in shaping the early career of champion golfer Pratima Sherpa. He regularly conducts junior golf camps at RNGC, nurturing young talent and developing future golfing champions.
