KATHMANDU, JANUARY 17

The price of gold has continued its upward trend in the domestic market, increasing by Rs 1,300 per tola on Friday. This follows a rise of Rs 1,600 per tola on Thursday, marking consecutive days of significant price hikes.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 157,900 per tola, up from Rs 156,600 per tola the previous day.

Similarly, silver has followed the rising trend of gold. The price of silver increased by Rs 10 per tola on Friday. After being recorded at Rs 1,800 per tola on Thursday, silver surged to Rs 1,890 per tola.
