KATHMANDU, MAY 2

The National Examinations Board (NEB) has confirmed that Grade 12 examinations will be conducted as scheduled from May 4 to 16.

The board dismissed rumors circulating on social media and warned against following misinformation, especially posts misusing NEB's logo. It clarified that NEB does not operate a Facebook page, and all official updates will be made available via its website.

Originally set to begin on April 24, the exams were postponed following protests by the Confederation of Nepalese Teachers. NEB said the exams will now proceed at designated centers following an agreement with the Confederation.

In a public notice, NEB urged exam superintendents, teachers, staff, security agencies, parents, media, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth and dignified conduct of the examinations.
