KATHMANDU, MAY 5

The Madhes Province Government has announced a public holiday on Tuesday, May 6, to mark Janaki Nawami (Sita Jayanti).

According to a notice issued by Ganesh Nayak, under-secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications and Law, another public holiday has also been declared for Wednesday, June 11, on the occasion of Kabir Das Jayanti.

These additions follow the updated list of public holidays published in the province's gazette on April 4.
