Top leaders meet to resolve political deadlock in House

KATHMANDU, JUNE 2

At the invitation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, a meeting of the three major political parties is currently underway at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

The meeting is focused on resolving the ongoing political deadlock in the House of Representatives.

Chaired by Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chair Oli, the meeting is being attended by Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Home Minister and NC leader Ramesh Lekhak, among other senior leaders, according to the Prime Minister's Private Secretariat.
