KATHMANDU, JUNE 5

The Embassy of India in Kathmandu marked World Environment Day 2025 with a special event themed 'Beat Plastic Pollution'.

Nepal's Minister for Forest and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri, participated in the event as a special guest. He joined the Ambassador of India to Nepal in planting saplings within the embassy premises, alongside students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathmandu.

A special video message from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the importance of environmental protection, was screened during the celebration.
