KATHMANDU, JUNE 25

MetLife Nepal has launched its annual Policy Reinstatement Campaign, encouraging customers to reactivate their lapsed life insurance policies and continue securing their financial future.

As part of the campaign, MetLife is offering a 100% waiver on late fees for policies that lapsed within the last five years and a 60% waiver for those lapsed beyond five years. The initiative aims to help policyholders regain coverage without bearing the full burden of penalty charges, according to the press release issued by the company.

The reinstatement process has been simplified, with application forms available online and premium payments accepted via eSewa, Connect IPS, and the One by MetLife app, the company said.

'This campaign is part of our continued effort to help customers stay protected and confidently plan for the future,' said Nirmal Kajee Shrestha, General Manager of MetLife Nepal. He urged eligible policyholders to take advantage of the offer and secure their life goals.

MetLife has been operating in Nepal since 2001, offering life insurance, accident and health coverage, and employee benefits. Globally, MetLife serves over 40 markets and holds a leading position in financial services.
