Samsung unveils Galaxy M36 5G in Nepal with AI features, sleek design and 'monster' performance
Available from July 24, the smartphone offers advanced AI tools, strong performance, and up to 6 years of software updates

Samsung, Nepal's leading smartphone brand, has officially launched the Galaxy M36 5G, the latest addition to its popular Galaxy M Series. With a sleek form factor and a host of AI-powered features, the new device promises a premium experience at a mid-range price point.
Packed with AI and performance
Samsung says the Galaxy M36 5G brings 'AI innovations to your fingertips' with tools like Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live, enabling users to search visually and interact with an AI assistant in real time.
The device is powered by a 5nm Exynos 1380 processor, built for smooth multitasking and gaming. It also includes a vapor cooling chamber to help manage heat during heavy use.
Durable design and pro-level camera
At just 7.7mm thick, the M36 5G features Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus®+ protection and a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster for better visibility in sunlight.
The phone's 50MP triple camera comes with optical image stabilization, Nightography, and Auto Night Mode for enhanced low-light performance. It supports 4K video recording on both front and rear cameras, and includes tools like Photo Remaster and Object Eraser for on-the-go editing.
Long-term software support
Samsung promises 6 years of security updates and 6 generations of Android upgrades with the Galaxy M36 5G. Running on One UI 7, the phone includes interface enhancements such as a new Now Bar and updated widgets. Security features include Samsung Knox Vault for protecting sensitive data.
The Galaxy M36 5G is now available in Velvet Black and Serene Green across authorized retail outlets in Nepal starting July 24. Two storage variants are on offer:
