Gold price soars by Rs 1,900 per, nears Rs 200,000 mark

Silver also records slight increase in domestic market

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 5

The price of gold in the domestic market surged by Rs 1,900 per tola on Tuesday, bringing it close to the Rs 200,000 per tola mark.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 198,500 per tola, up from Rs 196,600 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, silver prices also saw an uptick, rising by Rs 25 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs 2,280 per tola, compared to Rs 2,255 per tola on Monday.
