Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, has officially launched the BYD ATTO 1, an award-winning compact electric vehicle, during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025.

Known globally as the BYD Seagull, the electric hatchback has already earned the title of 'World Urban Car of the Year 2025' at the World Car Awards and is expected to redefine Nepal's EV landscape with its advanced safety features, affordability, and futuristic design.

The BYD ATTO 1 is built on the company's e-Platform 3.0 and comes equipped with the Blade Battery, incorporating Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology. These features improve structural integrity and safety, offering premium EV benefits at a more accessible price point. The vehicle is being launched in two variants in Nepal. The Dynamic variant, priced at Rs 28.95 lakhs, includes a 30.08 kWh battery with a 230 km range (WLTP). The Premium variant, priced at Rs 32.99 lakhs, comes with a 38.88 kWh battery and a 300 km range.

To mark the launch, Cimex has announced a special offer for bookings made during the NAIMA Auto Show 2025. The launch package includes a cash benefit, one-year free Auto Plus insurance, a free 3.3 kW portable charger, 10-year extended warranty, free accessories, and a 10-year subscription to the BYD app connectivity service.
