KATHMANDU, AUGUST 17

The price of gold continued its downward trend in the domestic market on Sunday, falling by Rs 700 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 195,500 per tola today, compared to Rs 196,200 per tola last Friday.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also edged lower, dropping by Rs 5 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs 2,310 per tola, down from Rs 2,315 per tola on Friday.
