Top End T20 Series: Nepal secure consecutive wins with 33-run triumph over Melbourne Renegades Academy

Sompal Kami's five-wicket haul propelled Nepal to a 33-run victory over Melbourne Renegades Academy, securing their second successive win in the Top End T20 Series in Australia's Northern Territory on Wednesday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss at Darwin's Cazalys Arena in Palmerston, Nepal posted 139 for nine in 20 overs. In reply, MRA were bundled out for 106 in the full quota of overs.
For MRA, Arjun Nair top-scored with 26 runs, while Jai Lemire (18) and Harry Dixon (16) offered brief resistance.
With the ball, Kami delivered a match-winning spell of 4-0-17-5, while Kushal Bhurtel and Rupesh Singh claimed two wickets each, and Dipendra Singh Airee and Shahab Alam chipped in with one apiece. His outstanding performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
In Nepal's innings, Kushal Malla led the scoring with 29 off 22 balls, including a boundary and a six. Dipendra Singh Airee added 27 off 28, while Lokesh Bam struck a brisk 24 off 16. Bhim Sarki contributed 17, and Arif Sheikh and Rupesh Singh managed 12 apiece.
For MRA, the wickets were shared evenly as Fergus O'Neill, Lachlan Bangs, Callum Stow, and Michael Archer picked up two each.
Prior to this encounter, Nepal had played four matches in the Series, winning one and losing three.
