MAW Vriddhi launches Changan Lumin electric hatchback in Nepal
Stylish, compact EV with 301 km range priced at Rs 22.99 lakh

MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of Changan in Nepal, unveiled the Changan Lumin electric hatchback at the NADA Auto Show 2025. The unveiling was led by Managing Director Vivek Sikaria alongside the company's leadership team.
The Lumin is a compact urban EV featuring a 35 kW motor and 28.08 kWh battery, offering a driving range of 301 km (NEDC) and DC fast charging from 30%–80% in 35 minutes. It is designed for young, eco-conscious drivers with features like a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, CarPlay, mobile app remote control, and spacious luggage options (104L–589L).
Safety features include dual airbags, high-strength steel body, ESP stability control, and a Battery Fortress safety system.
CEO Rupesh Sharma Bhatta described the Lumin as a 'fun urban companion' that blends smart technology with affordability.
The introductory price is Rs 22.99 lakh, making it one of the most competitively priced EV hatchbacks in Nepal's market.
