ICAN hosts 10th Pre-Articleship Orientation for CAP II graduates

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 26

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) has conducted its 10th Pre-Articleship Orientation Program to prepare CAP II graduates for professional training.

Held on August 24, the event drew 375 physical and 28 virtual participants. The program focused on professional behavior, attire, workplace culture, and ethics.

ICAN President CA Nil Bahadur Saru Magar urged students to embrace hard work, noting growing opportunities for Nepali accountants both at home and abroad. Vice President CA Anand Raj Sharma Wagle highlighted the critical role of Articleship training in shaping careers.

Sessions also covered Articleship deeds, technological changes in accounting, and global outsourcing opportunities. A special session on interpersonal communication was led by Rajan Koirala of Mindset Club.

The event concluded with recognition of winners of the ICAN Essay Contest 2025, who received cash prizes and certificates.
