US Nepal Climbers Association appoints coordinator for Nepal Chapter

Laxman Bomjan to lead initiatives on Himalayan preservation and sustainable mountaineering

The US Nepal Climbers Association Inc., a non-profit organization based in the United States, has appointed Laxman Bomjan as the Coordinator of its Nepal Chapter.

Established as a 501(c)(3) organization, the association works to support the mountaineering community, preserve Himalayan culture, and contribute to the education of children of climbers who lost their lives.

As coordinator, Bomjan will oversee chapter activities in Nepal, strengthen cooperation with the US headquarters, and launch programs benefiting climbers, local communities, and future generations. He will also lead the association's flagship campaign 'Save the Himalayas', which focuses on climate change awareness, glacier conservation, and sustainable mountaineering practices.

With this appointment, the association reiterated its commitment to promoting global solidarity, cultural pride, and the long-term protection of the Himalayas.
