The Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Nepali Society UAE and other organizations, organized a mobile consular and labor service camp in Al-Ain, around 200 kilometers from Abu Dhabi. The program aimed to provide essential services to Nepalis working and living in the region.

The camp offered facilities such as passport renewal, labor legalization, and consular as well as legal consultations.

According to the embassy, there was significant participation from Nepalis in need of these services.

Alongside document services, participants were also briefed about Nepal government's recent policies on labor governance, including enrollment in the Social Security Fund, the benefits of sending remittances through formal channels, and obtaining labor re-approvals directly from the embassy.

The program also emphasized awareness on financial literacy, as well as compliance with local rules and regulations while residing in the UAE.

The embassy reaffirmed its commitment to delivering faster and more efficient services, particularly for those facing issues such as expired passports, visa complications, or lost documents.
